Knowing your Body Shape before choosing your lingerie

Before you choose your lingerie, it is better for you to determine which type of body shape you have.

  • Ruler: Women with a ruler shape tend to be waif-like and slim. Rulers have no large differences between the size of their hips, waists, and shoulders. Rulers tend to put on weight in their stomach and backside, while maintaining slender arms and legs. Most rulers are ectomorphs.
  • Pear: Pear-shaped women tend to have larger lower bodies and smaller upper bodies. If you are a pear, you will find that your hips are slightly wider than your shoulders and that you tend to gain weight below your waist. Pears usually have small chests and flat stomachs. Most pears are mesomorphs.
  • Hourglass: Women with an hourglass shape are often envied by all of their friends. This is because hourglasses have well-proportioned upper and lower bodies, with a distinctively narrow waist. However, if you are an hourglass, you may find that you tend to gain weight all over your body, particularly in your hips and chest area. Hourglasses tend to be endomorphs or mesomorphs.
  • Apple: Apples are generally bigger on the top half of their bodies than on the bottom half. They commonly have slim hips and a large chest and stomach. Apples tend to gain weight above the waist or along the backside. The majority of apples are mesomorphs or endomorphs.

Making the Most of Your Shape

Though you may not be 100% satisfied with your body type or shape, there are ways that you can help to make the most of your body’s characteristics. Here are some exercises that you can perform to will aid in toning your body, whatever your shape.

If you are an Hourglass’
If you are have an hourglass figure, then you should be focusing on both cardio and resistance exercises. Cardio will assist in keeping your weight in check, while resistance exercises will help to maintain balance between your upper and lower body. Vary your repetitions and keep your resistance weights light so as not to build too much muscle mass. Here are some great exercises that you may want to try:

  • slow jogging
  • stationary biking (with light resistance)
  • jumping jacks
  • swimming
  • bicep curls, shoulder presses, and squats

If you are a Pear’
If you are a pear you will want to focus on exercises that will balance out the top half of your body with the bottom half of your body. You will also want to try to thin down your lower half. To achieve this, focus on aerobic activities that work out your lower body, and resistance exercises that will build your upper body. Use light weights and perform high repetitions of exercises. Some great activities include:

  • cycling (with low resistance)
  • elliptical training

If you are an apple, you will want to focus on aerobic training in order to slim down and lose body fat. By working on the lower half of your body, you can help balance out your chest and shoulders. Look to perform exercises that are low-resistance and involve low repetitions, such as:

  • running
  • leg squats, leg presses, and deadlifts

Rovio Angry Bird plans to bring to the big screen
Rovio entertainment, the creator popular game Angry Birds will receive an investment that makes it so worth USD 1.2 billion.

Even the company not yet known by public. It si quite interesting because few months ago, Rovio previously turned down offers from several major investors.

In March, Rovio received USD 42 million from Atomico, Niklas Zennstrom’s company, co-founder of Skype Technologies. He also received investments from Accel Partners is a proponent of Facebook Inc..

Rovio are also preparing to expand their popularity in China. They will make Angry Birds merchandise in 200 retail stores.

Some company that will become Rovio investors is a game developer Electronic Arts and Zynga. Not to forget, the media giant News Corp. and Walt Disney are also disseminated by the proponent.

Acer starts selling tablet computers Iconia Tab A100.
This tablet computer is the first device that uses the Android operating system 3.2 Honeycomb.

For now, the A100 is only available in the United States and Canada. In the U.S., the tablet at a price of $ 330 for the 8GB version and $ 350 for the 16GB version. Both were wearing only Wi Fi.

With a 7 inch screen, Iconia A100 comes with Wi Fi. There are two cameras, a 2 megapixel camera on the front and 5 megapixel camera on the back complete with LED Flash.

Do not worry about power, this table is strong enough that he has taken a dual core processor 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 and 1GB of RAM. While the battery can last about 5 hours.

Nitrat dalam Makanan

Pernahkah teman-teman menghindari makanan yang mengandung nitrat? Seringkali kita ragu membeli beberapa produk makanan yang mengandung nitrat. Produk-produk olahan yang mengandung nitrat, seringkali kita jumpai pada produk-produk daging olahan, seperti bakso, sosis, daging asap, makanan kaleng, dll. Anak-anak seringkali menyukai produk-produk olahan tersebut, sehingga kita ragu-ragu memutuskan apakah kita boleh mengkonsumsi produk-produk tersebut?

Percayakah teman-teman, ternyata nitrat yang kita hindari, tanpa sadar kita konsumsi hampir setiap hari. Mengejutkan sekali bukan? Nitrat yang kita hindari ini, ternyata 90% kita peroleh dari sayuran hijau, antara lain, bayam, seledri, kol, brokoli, dll. Dan hanya 10% kita peroleh dari produk-produk daging olahan. (itupun jika kita makan salah satu produk2x olahan tsb).

Apakah benar, nitrat tidak baik untuk kesehatan? Kalau dikonsumsi sekaligus dalam jumlah yang banyak (30-35gram), memang nitrat ini berbahaya untuk kesehatan. Yah seperti obat…bisa menjadi racun dalam jumlah banyak, tapi menjadi obat dalam jumlah sedikit. Dan selama ini, belum terbukti bahwa nitrat dapat mengakibatkan kanker.

Pernah mendengar Nitrosamine? Yang menurut kabar berita dapat mengakibatkan kanker yang banyak terdapat pada produk daging panggang, seperti sate, steak, dll. Nitrosamine ini, merupakan perubahan dari nitrat dalam makanan yang dapat terjadi jika terdapat pembakaran diatas suhu 200 derajat Celcius. Dan si Nitrosamine ini dapat diredam dengan cara memberikan Ascorbic Acid (Vit.C) dalam makanan yang mengandung nitrat. Yang lebih mengejutkan, ternyata si nitrosamine ini terdapat 17 kali lebih banyak pada asap rokok dan produk2x karet, antara lain balon tiup, kondom, dll.

Apakah aman mengonsumsi makanan yang mengandung Nitrat? Bahan tambahan makanan ini, merupakan salah satu bahan makanan tambahan yang diwajibkan pada produk-produk pengolahan daging standard Eropa dan Amerika. Nitrat sendiri sudah dipergunakan sejak manusia belum bisa membaca dan menulis untuk proses pengawetan daging, baik di China, Yunani, dll. Pada saat itu belum ditemukan mesin pendingin, jadi pengawetan daging merupakan hal yang paling umum untuk menyimpan daging dalam waktu yang lama. Zaman itu, belum ada standarisasi penggunaan nitrat, dan semua orang mengonsumsi daging yang telah diawetkan sebagai salah satu sumber protein yang paling banyak.

Pada tahun 1970-an, terjadi pro kontra dengan adanya pendapat dari beberapa ilmuwan, yang menyatakan bahwa nitrat dapat membahayakan kesehatan, yang akhirnya tidak dapat dibuktikan tetapi pendapat ini sudah menjadi pendapat umum yang sulit diubah. FDA Internasional, akhirnya menetapkan standarisasi untuk penggunakan nitrat ini agar pemakaiannya tidak berlebihan.

Nitrat tetap harus digunakan untuk produk-produk pengolahan daging, dengan tujuan menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri botulinum yang dapat mengakibatkan keracunan makanan, bahkan kematian. Selain itu, nitrat membantu warna daging menjadi lebih merah. Dengan jumlah sedikit, nitrat dapat membantu menyelamatkan ribuan bahkan jutaan manusia dari keracunan makanan. Kadar nitrat yang sangat sedikit di dalam produk-produk olahan ini, sangat aman untuk dikonsumsi dan jauh lebih sedikit daripada yang kita konsumsi melalui sayuran hijau.

Jadi aman dunk, kalau kita sering-sering makan produk-produk olahan tersebut? Jika produsen daging olahan tersebut memperhatikan dan mematuhi aturan standard International, kandungan nitrat yang berada dalam makanan sudah pasti aman untuk dikonsumsi. Kadangkala ada produsen nakal, yang memberikan nitrat melebihi aturan agar hasil produknya berwarna lebih merah cemerlang. Kita tetap harus waspada terhadap kandungan lemak dari produk-produk tersebut. Seringkali kita terlalu waspada di satu sisi, kita melupakan banyak faktor lain yang berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan kita.

Di Indonesia sendiri, penggunaan nitrat sebenarnya digunakan dalam pengolahan ikan asin, telur asin, terasi yang dikenal sebagai sendawa dan dijual bebas. Padahal si sendawa ini, tidak tertulis jelas kandungan nitratnya dan aturan pakai. Di luar kewaspadaan kita, ternyata sumber nitrat pada makanan bukan hanya dari sosis dan daging asap, tetapi paling banyak diperoleh dari sayuran hijau, ikan asin, telur asin, terasi, dll.

Jangan lupa, kita harus memperhatikan kandungan lemak dan gula dalam suatu produk. Hal ini justru harus lebih diwaspadai, karena hampir semua produk makanan (kue-kue, biskuit, minuman, dll) mengandung lemak dan gula. Hati-hati dengan lemak dan gula yang berlebihan, karena hal ini lebih membahayakan pada kesehatan kita semua. Juga harus diperhatikan jenis-jenis lemak dan gula yang dipergunakan. Jangan mudah terpancing dengan iklan suatu produk yang mengatasnamakan pemanis sehat atau lemak sehat, karena ada hal lain yang tidak kita ketahui dibelakangnya

mata indigoIndigo sebenarnya adalah sebutan untuk aura yang berwarna jingga, yaitu aura yang dipercaya mewakili manusia "masa depan". Anak-anak yang terlahir dengan aura ini dipercaya memiliki kekuatan spiritual lebih dari rata-rata. Mereka memiliki kepekaan akan suatu masalah yang kerap terjadi di sekitar mereka dan biasanya masalah itu lebih erat hubungannya dengan aktivitas spiritual.

Istilah indigo pertama kali dikemukakan oleh Nancy Ann Torp, seorang konselor pada tahun 1970. Dia meneliti warna aura tiap anak dan menghubungkannya dengan aspek kepribadian yang dimilki anak tersebut. Dari hasil penelitiannya, Nancy menemukan bahwa anak-anak yang mempunyai warna aura nila menunjukkan kelebihan-kelebihan yang mengarah kepada indera keenam. Indigo adalah istilah yang diberikan kepada anak yang mampu menunjukkan perilaku lebih dewasa dibandingkan dengan usianya serta mempunyai kemampuan intuisi yang sangat tinggi.

Indigo bisa muncul sejak usia dini atau saat anak tersebut mulai berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sosial dan paham akan norma-norma sosial yang berlaku. Anak dengan aura indigo ini dapat dikatakan sebagai anak ‘istimewa’. Anggap saja itu adalah kelebihan yang dia miliki sehingga memerlukan perhatian lebih. Indigo bukanlah suatu penyakit, bahkan jika anda menanyakan tentang indigo, jangan heran jika dokter anda ikut geleng kepala.

Banyak anak-anak sekarang yang terkategorikan sebagai Anak Indigo, juga disebut “Children of the Sun” oleh para ahli dari Amerika. Atau disebut juga sebagai “Millennium Children”. Para ahli mengatakan lebih dari 90% (di lain buku menyebutkan lebih dari 80 %) dari anak-anak di bawah 12 tahun, dan beberapa mengatakan walau dalam persentase yang tidak besar terdapat Indigo dewasa. Anak-anak ini teridentifikasi melalui adanya karakteristik yang unik. Mereka cerdas dan kreatif, namun bersifat sulit diatur pada kekuasaan dan sistem secara umum. Mereka sering disalahdiagnosa sebagai ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder = atau Gangguan Kekurangan Perhatian) atau ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperaktive Disorder = Gangguan Hiperaktif Kekurangan Perhatian) yang membutuhkan terapi untuk mengatasi sifatnya.

Banyak yang percaya bahwa anak indigo membawa kekuatan di dalam dirinya, misalnya bahwa mereka mampu “membaca” pikiran orang lain dengan tepat, mampu melihat aura tubuh, mampu memprediksi ke depan atau masa lalu. Malahan ada yang tubuhnya bisa “terisi" dengan jiwa-jiwa yang sudah "tua" dari masa lalu.

Wendy Chapman, dalam tulisindigo scenean Rossini, menjelaskan bahwa anak indigo adalah anak-anak yang umumnya tidak mudah diatur oleh kekuasaan, tidak mudah berkompromi, emosional dan beberapa diantaranya memiliki tubuh rentan, sangat berbakat atau berkemampuan akademis baik, dan mempunyai kemampuan metafisis. Sering dianggap anak ADD, walaupun mudah bersikap empati dan iba terhadap orang lain, atau terlihat sangat dingin dan tak berperasaan, dan memiliki kebijakan melebihi usianya. Apakah hal-hal tersebut seperti anda sendiri atau anak anda?

Berikut ini adalah beberapa pertanyaan yang bisa menunjukkan indikasi apakah anak anda termasuk kelompok anak indigo.

  1. Apakah anak anda sering bersikap seperti bangsawan ?
  2. Apakah anak anda memiliki perasaan pantas diterima di lingkungannya?
  3. Apakah anak anda mempunyai perasaan bahwa dirinya dapat dimengerti oleh semua orang ?
  4. Apakah anak anda sulit mengikuti disiplin atau perintah-perintah yang anda berikan ?
  5. Apakah anak anda tidak suka bersikap antri?
  6. Apakah anak anda tidak menyukai satu kegiatan yang berorientasi mekanikal atau ceremonial?
  7. Apakah anak anda sering menggunakan beberapa cara atau alternatif dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya di skolah?
  8. Apakah anak anda tiadk mudah untuk diajak kompromi atau diskusi?
  9. Apakah anak anda mudah merasa bosan dalammenyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang diberikan di rumah dan di sekolah?
  10. Apakah anak anda terlihat seperti anak-anak yang mempunyai gangguan dalam memfokuskan perhatiannya?
  11. Apakah anak anda terlihat seperti anak yang kreatif?
  12. Apakah anak anda sering menunjukkan kemampuan intuisi yang tajam?
  13. Apakah anak anda mempunyai sikap empati yang tinggi terhadap orang di sekitarnya?
  14. Apakah anak anda seringkali mempunyai pikiran yang abstrak yang seringkali membuat anda bingung untuk menjawabnya?
  15. Apakah anak anda cerdas?
  16. Apakah anak anda terlihat mempunyai bakat atau kelebihan yang jarang dimiliki oleh anak lain?
  17. Apakah anak anda sering berkhayal tentang sesuatu di luar pemikiran anak-anak pada umumnya?
  18. Apakah tatapan mata anak anda terlihat seperti memancarkan tatapan orang dewasa yang bijak?
  19. Apakah anak anda seringkali menunjukkan kecerdasan spiritual?
  20. Apakah anak anda sering menolak mengerjakan sesuatu yang

  2. Apakah anak anda seringkali tdak mersespon atau tidak merasa takut dengan ancaman?

Jika dari semua pertanyaan yang diberikan anda mampu menjawab ‘ya’ sebanyak 10 jawaban, maka anak anda kemungkinan menunjukkan gejala anak indigo. Jika jawaban ‘ya’ lebih dari jumlah 15, maka anak anda dipastikan masuk dalam kelompok anak indigo.

1/2-3 TAHUN

• Makanan= dewasa, gampang dicerna, dan tidak merangsang. gas dan alkohol dilarang, bisa menyebabkan perut kembung dan diare.
• ASI + MP(makanan pelengkap) ASI hingga dua tahun.
• Saat usia 1 – 3 tahun anak-anak masih sebagai konsumen pasif, artinya mereka tinggal menerima apa saja yang disediakan orang tuanya.
• Gigi belum dapat digunakan untuk mengunyah makanan yang terlalu keras.

4-6 TAHUN

• masa ini adalah masa perkembangan mental anak;
 anak berani mengatakan tidak terhadap makanan yang ditawarkan.
• TIDAK BERARTI PERANG!!! ‘perang di meja makan’
anak hanya mau makan satu jenis makanan, ayam saja, sate, bubur,,,
• Silahkan selama itu masih memenuhi gizi anak. Tetapi orangtua tidak boleh jera menawarkan makanan-makanan tiap kali makan.
• Pendidikan gizi serta kebiasaan makan yang baik mulai dapat diterapkan pada usia ini.
